About the Role
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Hackney to appoint a Year 4 Teacher for a September start. This is a permanent position within a well-structured Key Stage 2 team, offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. You will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with the national curriculum while contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to mixed-ability learners
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (or strong ECT placement experience)
- A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive education
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
