Milk Education are working with a primary school in Platt Bridge (WN2) who are seeking a full-time temporary year 3/4 Teaching Assistant to support within the year 3/4 class working with SEND children.
This year 3/4 Teaching Assistant role is starting immediately and will be a temporary, long-term role July 2026. The school are looking at someone who wants to become a permanent staff member.
The School are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child's learning needs for this year 3/4 Teaching Assistant position. The hours of work are 08:30am- 15:30pm, Monday to Friday.
This year 3/4 Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the child's needs are being met. In this KS1 Teaching Assistant role you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child. You must have strong behaviour management.
Teaching Assistant - Role & Responsibilities- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
- Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
- Deliver catch-up sessions
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two years
- Must have a passion for education
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
- Must be reliable and punctual
