A welcoming and supportive primary school in Croydon is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2.

The Role

• Take responsibility for a Year 3 class
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Support pupils as they transition from KS1 into KS2
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Encourage pupils to become confident and independent learners

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Previous Year 3 or lower KS2 experience would be desirable
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Organised, reliable and adaptable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
