Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Walsall that is committed to creating a positive, nurturing, and ambitious learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join the team from October 2026 until March 2027 to cover a planned absence.

Your new role
  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic and personal development
  • Adapt and tailor existing planning to suit your teaching style and the needs of your class
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
  • Benefit from allocated PPA time and support from the wider teaching team
What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to adapt planning and deliver engaging lessons
  • A flexible, proactive, and positive approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
