Academics are currently recruiting a motivated and nurturing Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative team and make a meaningful impact during a crucial stage of pupils' academics development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils' progress, and maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment.

The role - Year 2 Primary Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Support pupils in preparation for end-of-Key Stage assessments (SATs where applicable)
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
