Salary: M1-UPS (£32,916 - £51,048)

We're working with a genuinely lovely, two-form entry primary school in Weston-super-Mare that people don't tend to leave. That's usually the biggest green flag - and it comes down to how the school is run.

It's well organised, calm, and properly supportive. No unnecessary pressure, no chaos - just a team that gets on with it, helps each other out, and takes pride in doing a good job. It's a smaller school with a real "everyone knows everyone" feel, and it shows in both staff morale and the way the children learn.

The role itself:

This is a full class teaching role in Year 1. Planning is already in place, so your focus is on delivering lessons well, keeping standards high, and building strong relationships with the class. You'll still be involved in marking and adapting resources, but you won't be taking work home every night to plan from scratch.

They're looking for someone who:

• Has QTS
• Knows KS1 well (Year 1 experience is a bonus, not a dealbreaker)
• Keeps a calm, consistent classroom with clear expectations
• Can bring lessons to life without overcomplicating things
• Is the kind of person others enjoy working with - it matters here
