Year 1 Class Teacher - Supply role

Location: North East Lincolnshire

Job Type: Temporary (Monday-Friday, flexible)

Pay: £130-£170 per day

About the Role

Reed Education is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and committed Year 1 Teacher to support primary schools across North East Lincolnshire on a flexible supply basis. This position is ideal for someone who thrives across Key Stage One classes and enjoys the flexibility of day-to-day or short-term roles with potential pathways into long-term roles.

What You'd Be Doing

  • Teaching Year 1 classes using pre-planned lessons and resources
  • Establishing a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Supporting early literacy, numeracy and phonics
  • Managing behaviour and classroom routines in line with school policies
  • Helping pupils feel confident, settled, and ready to learn
  • Accessing flexible daily supply work with opportunities for extended placements

What You'll Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Year 1 or KS1 in UK primary schools
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with a caring approach
