Year 5 Teacher Required for Primary School in Dewsbury - Summer Term
About the role:
At Engage Education, we're currently looking for a resilient and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to work full-time for the summer term at a primary school in Dewsbury.
You will be joining a committed staff team in a school that is focused on raising standards and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This role requires a confident practitioner who can build strong relationships and effectively manage challenging behaviour, creating a structured, safe and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
The school is seeking a teacher who can deliver high-quality, creative lessons while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations. Experience working with challenging behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategies is essential.
The ideal applicant will be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS
- Experienced in teaching KS2, ideally Year 5
- Confident and skilled in managing challenging behaviour
- Able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Resilient, consistent and calm under pressure
- Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
