About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician with knowledge and experience of working on a varied range of vehicles from Agricultural to Motor vehicles to join our workshop management team here at our York campus. This role will be working on a permanent full-time basis.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the day to day workshop maintenance on vehicles and workshop equipment. This will be to serve the specific needs of lecturers and students to ensure high quality curriculum delivery. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in engineering and mechanisation is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a high standard of workshop maintenance and tasks, whilst providing services to support the curriculum, working under the supervision of the workshop manager.

Educated to a level 3 in engineering with, ideally, experience in Agricultural, Plant or Motor Vehicle industries. The correct candidate should have a positive and proactive approach to work, be self-sufficient and work well as a member of a team.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
