Opportunity: Workshop Engineer Contract: Permanent Location: Lisburn

The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Due to growth in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our supportive and friendly teaminLisburn.

We are keen to see CV's from candidates who have experience within one of the following sectors;forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.

In this role you will be:
  • Servicingand maintainingof diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment
  • Fault finding, completingplanned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks
  • Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
  • Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
  • Completing job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
  • Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service
What will help you to excel in this role:
  • NVQ Level 3 or relevant technical qualification
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure
  • The ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Understanding customer needs
