£28,598 - £31,022 per annum
37 hours per week

We are seeking a person experienced in delivering front line customer services to organise work for our busy repairs service and liaise with tenants about the jobs for their home.

Our Planners are at the forefront of delivering our maintenance jobs. They work with both Planned and Reactive Maintenance teams to arrange access with tenants, explain what work will be done and to plan the work. You will be responsible for raising repairs orders in accordance with agreed priorities and dealing with enquiries about the work.

Officers work closely with managers to ensure we deliver jobs on time and comply with all health and safety requirements. They also liaise with contractors to get work done.

The successful candidate will require good customer care skills, be able to communicate well and have excellent organisational skills. They must be computer literate and be able to use databases, spreadsheets, and word processing applications. We will be seeking someone who will be proactive in responding to service demands and has a positive manner.

Officers are expected to work confidently as part of a team and be able to work calmly under pressure. Candidates will be asked about their knowledge of housing maintenance and the building trade. They must be flexible and have positive attitude to completing various differing tasks. The successful candidate will be able to show that they are enthusiastic and motivated to provide a quality and efficient service for our tenants.
