Our partner plays an active role in the energy transition by connecting not only cables and pipelines, but also people. As a contracting company, they operate across a wide range of sectors, serving both public and private clients. Their operations are divided into four business units: Distribution, Electromechanics, Infrastructure, and Industry.
Within the Distribution business unit, the company installs utility pipelines for gas, water, electricity, and data, both for new construction projects and renovations. They manage the entire process. Because they offer all underground networks and household connections, excavation is needed only once.
The position:
You are the essential link between the project team, execution, and external partners.
- You prepare a wide range of infrastructure projects - from pipeline networks (both underground and aboveground) and cable pulling to the distribution of water, gas, and data.
- You create smooth and accurate schedules, ensure the availability of necessary materials, and monitor budgets closely.
- No two days are the same - you'll collaborate with various stakeholders across the industry, distribution, and electromechanics sectors.
- On-site project managers rely on your support, and you proactively contribute ideas for improvement.
- You thrive on variety, working on projects throughout Belgium.
- You ensure clear communication with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
Your profile:
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Electromechanical Engineering, or you combine relevant experience with a passion for infrastructure.
- You're proficient with MS Office and MS Project.
- Knowledge of infrastructure design, pipeline, and cable networks is definitely a plus!
- You have a valid driving license; a VCA certificate is a nice bonus.
- You speak and write fluent Englisch and ideally Dutch.
- You're flexible and willing to travel - you quickly adapt to different environments.
- Accuracy and a results-driven mindset are second nature to you.
The offer:
- A permanent full-time contract
- Exciting projects in the energy transition sector, with opportunities to grow together and make a real impact
- Plenty of training opportunities - plus two welcome days a year for all new colleagues
- A family-like atmosphere: 500 colleagues, yet it feels like one close-knit team
- A competitive salary, company car, smartphone, meal vouchers, group and hospitalization insurance, and other fringe benefits
- Dynamic after-work events, team-building activities, and sporty challenges to keep the connection strong
- One day of remote work per week after your onboarding period
