London Fire Brigade (LFB) is London's Fire and Rescue Service - one of the largest firefighting and rescue organisations in the world. We are here to make London a safer city.
We employ over 5,500 people, across our operational team (our firefighters), control (our call handlers who answer your 999 calls) and our non-operational team (our teams who work behind the scenes to support our front-line services, including HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Communications etc.).
LFB is committed to improving its estate, providing an environment which supports LFB and its wider community. This role is required to support the Workplace team to develop an enhanced workplace environment across the LFB estate.
This post is responsible for reporting on the delivery of projects across the department, ensuring systems are accurately populated and creating dashboards and reports to inform meetings and discussions and ensuring collaboration across the teams.
The post will also assist in wider responsibilities of the Workplace team providing administrative support as required and directed by the Head of Workplace.

Assessment Overview Stage 1- Experience of facilities management services and projects and providing administrative support to property and project teams.
- Experience of using a range of Information Technology applications with good keyboard skills and an understanding of the ways in which IT applications can be utilised in the context of the duties of the post.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels, representatives of external organisations, contractors and members of the public.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to programme own and other team members workloads and a proven ability to work to deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
