Workday consultant

I am looking for a highly experienced Functional Workday Consultant to support a leading organization in optimizing and maintaining its Workday HCM environment. The assignment will run until at least February 2026, with potential for extension. Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week is required, with 3-4 days per week expected on-site.

Preferably July (for onboarding), August is also possible.

Your Role:

As a Senior Functional Workday Consultant, you will be responsible for enhancing and configuring existing Workday processes, with a strong focus on HCM. You will be involved in business process optimization, reporting, template creation, and supporting ongoing international rollouts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Functional configuration within Workday HCM
• Creating and optimizing reports and dashboards
• Designing and improving business processes
• Creating and maintaining templates and documentation
• Handling maintenance tickets and change requests
• Contributing to team structure and best practices (way of working)

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience as a functional Workday consultant
• Deep expertise in Workday HCM (required)
• Hands-on experience with reporting, onboarding, performance management
• Familiarity with Dutch legislation is a strong plus
• Experience with advanced compensation, benefits, and ideally integrations
• Background in structured, enterprise-level environments
• Proven experience in Workday implementations
• Proactive mindset with the ability to structure teams and workflows
• Fluent in English
