WordPress Developer

Interpro Technology is an IT company based in Fareham, Hampshire with a friendly team, modern offices and a great working environment.

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with prior experience to join our expanding website department as a WordPress Developer.

The position is full-time and office-based with occasional remote working possible on request.

A junior candidate may be considered if they can display a good understanding and capabilities in the skills required for the role.

Daily Role

• Designing and developing bespoke, visually appealing and user-friendly websites using WordPress CMS (Occasionally dealing with other platforms)
• Collaborating with team members and directly with clients to deliver a project that is to scope and a specific level of standards.
• Maintaining and updating a wide portfolio of existing websites/clients.
• Liaising with clients to manage their requirements and provide guidance.

Required Skills

• Experience in WordPress and a good knowledge of its functionality
• Proficiency in HTML & CSS
• Ability to prioritise your tasks, manage multiple projects and keep to deadlines.
• Strong communication skills (telephone & email)

Beneficial Skills

• PHP
• Graphic Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or similar)
• Hosting Environments & Functionality including: Domain Management, DNS/Nameservers, Databases (MySQL), FTP etc.
