platform recruitment have partnered with a digital agency who are mid-weight headless wordpress developer to join their digital team on a contract basis.

this role will work across exciting web projects, collaborating with designers and developers to build fast, scalable sites using wordpress as a headless cms alongside react and next.js.

key responsibilities:

• develop and maintain websites using headless wordpress architecture
• implement rest apis to deliver content from wordpress
• optimise websites for speed, seo, and accessibility
• ensure high-quality code through testing and documentation
• debug and resolve development issues
• strong experience with headless cms (wordpress + react/next.js)
• advanced custom fields (acf) block development
