Roles and Responsibilities

• The senior Windows system administrator is part of the Windows Server Team and helps to fulfill the tasks for which the team is responsible A non-exhaustive list of the tasks are:
• Follow-up and resolution of 2nd and 3rd line incidents
• Perform minor implementation questions related to the offered Services
• Perform line-of-Business releases on Application Servers
• Performing maintenance of the Citrix XenDesktop Servers / Remote Desktop Session Hosts

Technical competencies:

• experiencewith Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
• experiencewith Windows Server 2012 or higher
• experiencewith Windows Infrastructure Services (DHCP, DNS, PXE) & Windows Firewalling technology
• experience ) with Microsoft 365 technologies (Exchange Online, Teams, Authentication)

Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies

• Windows PowerShell
• Microsoft IIS Application Servers
• UniPrint Infinity Suite
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 1902 or higher
• Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
• Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later
• VMWare vSphere v8.0 or later
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2402LTSR or later
