My client, a Tech business, are looking for an experienced Lead Windows Server Administrator to take ownership of our Windows server estate. This role combines hands on technical expertise with strategic input, helping to shape infrastructure services, introduce new technologies, and drive continuous improvement across the environment.

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Design and deliver complex, integrated infrastructure solutions aligned to business needs
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based virtualisation platforms (e.g. Azure Local / Hypervisor environments)
• Maintain and optimise core services including servers, storage, email, file, and collaboration platforms
• Proactively monitor system performance, capacity, and resilience to minimise risk

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Business, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years' experience in IT infrastructure / systems administration
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g. backups, file transfers, configuration)
• Demonstrated success implementing new technologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
