Site-based Full-time - based in Teesside Outside IR35 Contract until end of January 6 days/week
Are you an experienced Welding QC Inspector ready to contribute to a high-profile Carbon Capture project? Join our client's team and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of welding quality and compliance on the BP NEP / NZT project based in Teesside.
Your Role:Reporting to the Quality Control Coordinator, you'll be responsible for field welding inspections, ensuring all welding operations meet relevant standards and QC procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site
 - Verify welding parameters, consumables, WPS/PQRs, and welder qualifications
 - Monitor pre heating, heat treatment, bevels, and welding repairs
 - Issue Quality Records and Non Conformance Reports
 - Ensure proper documentation and traceability for all inspections and tests
 - Oversee subcontractor compliance with approved QC/ITPs
 - Support the compilation of the final As Built dossier
 
- Experience: 5+ years in Welding QC Inspection within Oil & Gas or similar industries
 - Certifications: CSWIP 3.1, AWS, or equivalent
 - Skills: Strong knowledge of welding inspection and quality control procedures
 
- Contract role (Outside IR35)
 - Full time, 6 days per week
 - Project duration: November until end of January
 - Be part of a cutting edge Carbon Capture initiative
