Welder / Fabricator x5

CLS, Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for 8 Welder/Fabricators with manufacturing experience to work with our client who is an established Steel Structure company based in Wombwell and Shafton.

Candidates will be completing the following tasks -

• Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings and specifications
• Fabricate steel structures using MIG/MAG welding techniques (in line with coded welding standards)
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using appropriate tools and machinery (e.g., flame cutters, grinders, saws)
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and proper weld integrity of fabricated parts
• Inspect and test completed welds to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards

• Proven experience as a structural steel welder/fabricator, preferably within a steel construction or heavy engineering environment
• Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding; Coded welder qualification preferred (or willing to gain certification)
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, symbols, and welding specifications
• Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight tolerances
• NVQ Level 2 or above in Fabrication and Welding (or equivalent) desirable

£1ph uplift for working a minimum of 45 hours per week.
