Job Summary

As the public face of our properties, you'll provide a warm friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable memorable visit.

Contract/duration: Fixed term until 31 January 2027

Hours/working pattern: This role is based on annualised hours. The number of hours you work each month may vary but salary will be paid in equal instalments. We operate 363 days per year - your work will include weekends and bank holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. Shifts run from 9-4:30 or 5pm in the main season and are an hour shorter in the winter.

Reporting to our Welcome Manager, you'll be part of a small team of dedicated welcome staff.

For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form.

What you'll be doing

Alongside your core responsibilities, you'll play an important part in maintaining the welcoming and well presented environment we're known for. This includes light cleaning, keeping literature stocked, preparing mobility aids, ensuring accurate information, and supporting volunteers. You'll provide a warm, friendly, thoughtful visitor experience, listening to each visitor's needs and sharing the right information.
