Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative - Swindon Location: Swindon
Salary: £13p/h- £16p/h 9am until 5pm
Job Type: Full-Time Temporary
Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative Required We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid Forklift licence to join a busy warehouse team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Warehouse Operative who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently using a forklift, while also carrying out general Warehouse Operative duties.
Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift
• Picking and packing orders accurately as a Warehouse Operative
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock around the warehouse safely
• Booking goods in and out
• Stock control and inventory checks
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
• Supporting the wider team with general Warehouse Operative duties
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Meeting productivity and accuracy targets

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Licence essential
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative
• Good understanding of warehouse processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
