Warehouse Operative

Overview

Rapier Employment is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their client's team in Normanton. This full time, contract position offers a salary of £12.71 to £13.78 per hour, dependent on shift. Suitable candidates should live within a 30 minute commute of the location.

Salary

£12.71 - 13.78ph - depending on shift. Overtime rates of time and a third or time and a half apply.

Shift Times

• Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 14:00 (£12.71ph)
• Monday to Friday - 10:00 - 18:00 (£12.71ph)
• Monday to Friday - 14:00 - 22:00 (£13.78ph)

Responsibilities

• Moving stock physically and via systems
• Operating handheld terminals
• Processing paperwork
• Working collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience essential
• Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations
• Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
• Experience in MHE is advantageous
• Good attention to detail, IT proficiency, and comfort with heavy lifting are essential
