Job Title:Warehouse Operative
Location:Swindon, SN25 (easily accessible by public transport)
Pay Rate:£12.21p/h
Shifts: Monday to Friday , 6am - 2pm, or 10am - 6pm
Contract:Temporary ongoing
gap Personnel are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Swindon. Our client is about to enter peak, and us such, are recruiting for an additional 20 Warehouse Operatives. Ideal candidates must have good written and spoken English, good warehouse experience and be comfortable with occasional heavy lifting.
For those who demonstrate good attendance, performance and a great approach to work, there will be an on going position available after peak.
Job Duties:
- Receive, unload and pick products
- Picking and packing stock - Will involve heavy lifting
- Operating a scanner for picking, stock put away and stock replenishment, so all data is automatically updated in the main system
- Despatch
- Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet all SLA
- Manual handling
Ideal candidate will have:
- Enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to go for an extra mile
- Previous warehouse experience working in both goods in and goods out area is an advantage
- Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Good attention to detail.
- Good PC skills
