Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in North Hykeham. This is a hands on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely handle and move heavy items such as radiators, towel rails and large garden furniture.
• Use hand scanners to accurately pick and process orders.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Ensure all items are stored and handled with care.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily targets.

Duration: The position is long term ongoing

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.70 per hour and accrue up to 28 days holiday per year. Please note we do not offer sponsorship.

Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday with the start time being 07:00 and shifts averaging 9 hours. You will have a 1 hour break.

Experience & Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
• Comfortable performing tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Able to operate hand held scanners (training will be provided if necessary).
• Dependable, punctual, and works well within a team environment.
