Overview

As a Warehouse Operative / Production Operative based in Maidstone, you will join a manufacturing team operating Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, and Friday from 7:30am to 1:00pm. This full-time contract pays £12.71 per hour. Your duties involve using tools, machinery, and industrial equipment to assemble high-quality goods. This hands-on position suits those with backgrounds in factory, assembly, or machine operation roles. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow production schedules are essential. You will contribute to maintaining output standards while working closely with colleagues in a structured shift pattern.

Production Operative Required

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Maidstone. Key Responsibilities

  • Working as a Production Operative within a busy factory environment

  • Carrying out assembly and manufacturing tasks to company specifications

  • Using hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment safely and effectively

  • Operating production machinery and equipment

  • Completing repetitive production and assembly work with a high level of accuracy

  • Following manufacturing instructions and production schedules


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operating role is advantageous

  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the working day

  • Good manual dexterity and practical skills

  • Ability to use hand tools and basic workshop equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or production environments is desirable but not essential
