Apply today!# Job Details Warehouse Operative Location: Leeds, LS11 0LR Contract: 3-Month Temporary Contract Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm (20 hours per week) Pay Rate: £12.95 per hourAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to support Alliance Healthcare's wholesale distribution operation in Leeds.This is a hands-on warehouse position where you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared accurately and efficiently. The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has good attention to detail, and can work as part of a team.Key Responsibilities Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick documentation. Assemble and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring the correct quantities are selected. Handle hospital, bulk medical, fridge, and secure-area orders. Ensure products are packaged correctly and safely to prevent damage. Complete special-check orders and pass them to the relevant team. Maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity. Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times. Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards. Support other warehouse activities as required What We're Looking For Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Manual Handling RequirementsThis role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying, bending, and moving stock throughout the shift.
