We are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics provider for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations within a healthcare contract. This is a key role focused on delivering high standards of service, operational efficiency, and team leadership.
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring accurate stock management, efficient processes, and excellent customer service. Acting as a key interface between operations and the customer, you will lead a team of warehouse operatives and technicians while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, resources, and space utilisation
- Oversee Goods In/Out, stock control, and inventory accuracy
- Lead and develop warehouse teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ISO standards
- Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements
- Support budgeting and cost-saving initiatives (P&L exposure)
- Maintain strong customer relationships and service delivery
- Manage audits, reporting, and issue resolution
About You
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role (3-5 years+)
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Experience in stock control, audits, and warehouse systems (Oracle desirable)
- Good IT skills, including Excel
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach
- Forklift experience/license and full UK driving license preferred
