Warehouse employee

In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of furniture products. Some of the key responsibilities would be:

• Receiving and unloading the furniture from delivery trucks and verify the accuracy of shipment contents
• Safely and efficiently store furniture in designated areas, ensuring optimal use of space and maintaining an organized warehouse
• Pick, pack, and prepare furniture items for shipment according to customer orders
• Conduct regular inventory checks, update records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and report any discrepancies
• Inspect furniture for any damage or defects and ensure all items meet quality standards before shipping
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of packaging materials

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
• Effective communication skills to work well with team members and supervisors
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
