Job PurposeTo support warehouse operations through accurate administration and stock control within a pharmaceutical and medical distribution and storage environment. The role supports frozen, chilled, and ambient products, ensuring stock accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of customer service. This is a customer-focused role acting as a link between warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Administration• Accurate data input and maintenance on the Warehouse Management System (WMS)• Process inbound and outbound documentation in line with SOPs and GDP standards• Maintain batch numbers, expiry dates, and stock movement records• Label cartons and pallets accurately• Ensure documentation is audit-readyStock Control• Maintain accurate stock levels across frozen, chilled, and ambient storage• Carry out cycle counts and support full stock takes• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies• Monitor short-dated, expired, damaged, or quarantined stock• Ensure FEFO principles are followedCustomer & Order Support• Handle occasional customer calls regarding orders and deliveries• Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries• Support order processing and dispatch administrationCompliance & Safety• Work in line with GDP and company quality standards• Follow cold-chain and frozen product handling procedures• Escalate deviations or temperature concerns• Comply with health & safety requirements
Skills & ExperienceEssential• Warehouse experience• Stock control experience• Experience using WMS systems and data input• Strong attention to detail• Confident with Microsoft Office• Comfortable working in cold and frozen environments• Good communication skillsDesirable• Pharmaceutical or medical distribution experience• GDP or regulated logistics knowledge• Forklift licence or experience (beneficial but not essential)Personal Attributes• Customer-focused with a professional approach• Organised and proactive• Able to work well under pressure• Strong team player• Committed to quality and accuracyWorking EnvironmentWarehouse-based role with exposure to ambient, chilled, and frozen storage areas.
