Sapiens is seeking an exceptional, business oriented leader to join our Property & Casualty (P&C) division as VP Business Unit - a high impact role at the centre of our customer facing strategy and delivery. In this pivotal position, you'll act as a trusted advisor to major P&C insurers, shaping long term partnerships and steering complex transformation programmes that modernise operations, unlock measurable value, and drive sustainable growth.
This is a unique opportunity to own the commercial, strategic, and delivery landscape for some of our most significant P&C clients, while influencing the future direction of one of Sapiens' strongest and most established business areas.
Location: UK (with travel as required)
Working Model: Hybrid (EC3R) or Remote UK
About the Role:
The VP Business Unit (VP BU) is a senior strategic leader responsible for driving growth, value, and delivery excellence across Sapiens' P&C customer accounts. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, the VP BU develops a deep understanding of each customer's business, priorities, and long term objectives.
With full accountability for both commercial success and delivery outcomes, the VP BU strengthens customer relationships, shapes strategic initiatives, and ensures that Sapiens delivers measurable value across every engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Business Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to P&C customer executives.
- Develop deep knowledge of customer organisations and identify pain points.
- Build compelling value propositions aligned to customer strategy.
- Drive continuous account growth and expand solution adoption.
- Own and manage the account P&L.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships.
- Collaborate with Sales on Land & Expand and cross-sell initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end upsell cycles.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies.
Execution & Delivery Excellence
- Ensure services are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
- Ensure all contractual and financial commitments are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and drive mitigation plans.
- Act as the primary escalation point for customer and internal teams.
- Promote collaboration across Delivery, Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Champion a customer-centric culture.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior enterprise software, SaaS, or consulting leadership role.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven P&L ownership.
- Ability to engage credibly with C suite stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of value-based selling and business case development.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
- Preferably experience within the Property & Casualty insurance technology sector.
- Knowledge of insurance technology or financial services.
- Experience in global, matrixed environments.
- Familiarity with programme governance methodologies.
