About the RoleBased at our St. Austell campus, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to integrate into a highly successful teaching team. Alongside delivering outstanding education, the successful applicant will take on the role of Study Programme Manager within Vocational Studies.
They will be expected to contribute to a positive experience for all learners, with particular focus on supporting students with SEND and behavioural difficulties. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the programme as a pathway lead, ensuring learners have a positive, engaging experience that enables them to reach their full potential.
Skills & ExperienceApplicants must hold, or be willing to work towards, a Level 5 teaching qualification (such as a Cert Ed, PGCE, or DET). For the right candidate, this qualification can be undertaken through the college within three years of appointment. A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in both English and Mathematics is required.
Candidates must possess an understanding and/or knowledge of working with students with SEND and/or behavioural difficulties. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about motivating, inspiring, coaching, and mentoring learners whilst delivering high quality teaching and learning throughout.
Experience and/or knowledge working successfully with students who have diverse learning needs and/or behavioural difficulties is essential to this role.
Hours of workMonday to Friday (however, you may be required to work the occasional evening and/or weekend).
