Vice President - Strategic Advisory (Capital Markets)

Responsibilities

• Working directly with financial sponsor and corporate clients across all industries in evaluating, structuring, recommending and executing financing alternatives across the capital structure.
• Advising clients on a broad range of transactions including:
  • synchronized acquisition financings and refinancings
  • private credit lending
  • par and stressed refinancings
  • liability management, including Exit Financings, A&E and Exchange Offers
  • growth and venture capital
  • structured, hybrid and infrastructure financings
• Collaborating directly with clients and working closely with senior members of the Strategic Advisory team, many of whom were previously group heads at leading investment banking firms.
• Evaluating, structuring, and recommending financial and strategic alternatives, including the analysis of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic combinations, asset sales, and divestitures.
• Leading the day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and negotiation with lenders on key financing documents.
• Working with senior management to coordinate associate/analyst materials.
• Designing and developing financing models to assess the impact of various financing structures on companies and shareholders.
• Participating in both internal and external client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a top-ranked university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leveraged finance, debt capital markets advisory, restructuring or direct lending at an investment bank or credit fund.
• ACA or CFA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
