Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal Practice
Cobham, Surrey Full-Time or Part-Time Modern Facilities Low Weekend Rota
We're working with a well-equipped and supportive veterinary practice in Cobham, known for its outstanding client care and forward-thinking approach to clinical work. With state-of-the-art facilities and a tight-knit team, this is a brilliant opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their skills in a collaborative and progressive environment.
About the Practice
This modern and spacious main site supports four sister branches in the surrounding area. Facilities include:
- In-house operating theatre
- Dedicated dental theatre
- Diagnostic suite (digital x-ray, ultrasound, lab equipment)
- Separate dog, cat, and isolation wards
- A clinical team made up of 5 Vets, 2 RVNs, plus an excellent support team
The leadership team includes 3 Practice Directors/Managers, focused on mentorship and creating an inclusive, enjoyable workplace culture.
The Role:
- Full-time hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm
- Part-time applications welcome and can be tailored
- Weekends: 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (9am-1pm)
- Thursday afternoon off in lieu the following week
This position would suit a confident vet who enjoys a varied caseload and values strong clinical standards, teamwork, and great client relationships.
Ideal Candidate:
- MRCVS-qualified with the right to work in the UK
- Experience in general practice (newer grads considered if confident)
- Comfortable working sole charge occasionally (support available)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about high-quality medicine and patient care
