GVC is proud to be working on behalf of a thriving, small animal practice in Nottingham that's on the lookout for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic and friendly team.

Consult-only roles will be fully considered - ideal for those who enjoy face-to-face client interaction and clinical problem-solving, without the demands of surgery.

About the Practice

This busy, purpose-built surgery is designed with both patients and professionals in mind. The clinic is kitted out with cutting-edge equipment including:

Digital X-ray

Advanced ultrasound and endoscopy

Medical class 4 laser

Full in-house laboratory

With bright, air-conditioned consulting rooms and a team that truly enjoys working together, you'll find a welcoming and supportive environment waiting for you.

You will be part of a 5 Vet, 5 Nurse team, with a mixture of interest and experience between them

Set just outside Nottingham city centre, the practice enjoys the perfect blend of urban accessibility and scenic countryside. The area boasts excellent transport links, including proximity to East Midlands Airport, making commuting a breeze.

About You

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:

Brings enthusiasm, empathy, and excellent communication skills

Has solid experience in small animal practice (UK experience preferred)

Is confident in consults, diagnostics, and general medicine

Would enjoy being part of a team that values collaboration and high clinical standards

An interest in internal medicine is especially welcomed, and you'll be supported to grow that interest further with CPD and case exposure.

Working Pattern & Benefits

Full-time role, ideally 4 days/week

1 in 4 Saturdays

No OOH, no Sundays, and no bank holidays - enjoy your life outside of work

Salary up to £65,000K (Depending on experience)

5 weeks annual leave per year
