Working Pattern: Tuesday to Friday, with occasional adjustments depending on operational needs and trips.

The RoleTo primarily support the delivery of our Veterans Projects and other sessions across the Welfare and Social Inclusion Department.
An integral part of this role will include driving the organisation's minibus across the Burnley, Pendle, and East Lancashire areas (and beyond where required) to support the needs of the charity. You will support the team to help deliver meaningful change in the lives of under represented, vulnerable, or disadvantaged individuals and groups within the local community.
Roles and Responsibilities Delivery Support- Prepping and closing for wellbeing sessions by ensuring the layout and configuration of the venue is ready for the participants and clean and tidy after use.
- Meet and greet participants on arrival and ensure refreshments are easily accessible for vulnerable participants.
- Support with low intensity activities, for example; table games, indoor games and short walks.
- On occasion, you may be asked to register participants on arrival.
- To drive the organisation minibuses as directed by line manager or project staff.
- To adhere to company protocol in regards to vehicle maintenance, cleanliness and general upkeep which will include raising any issues or concerns to Line Manager.
- To ensure the safe keeping of the vehicle keys and fuel card and retain receipt for fuel usage. This will then be processed through Finance.
- Operate a minibus to transport passengers safely to and from designated locations.
- Adhere to scheduled routes and timings, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs are planned prior to journey.
- Handle emergencies and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting the vehicle, providing excellent customer service.
- Provide assistance to passengers with special needs or disabilities.
- Conduct pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the minibus.
- Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
- Communicate effectively with the Football Development Manager and other team members.
- To engage, inspire and empower people to reach their full potential.
- To support the delivery of high quality, impactful wellbeing sessions in areas of high need across Burnley and Pendle and the wider East Lancashire area.
- To support a number of programmes with their delivery, namely our Veterans Programme.
- Work with groups from a range of diverse backgrounds.
- Consider equality, diversity and inclusion in all activities with diverse communities.
- Support the department to ensure all activities are correctly monitored with the appropriate risk assessments, safeguarding and health and safety procedures in place.
- To understand and implement the Charity's Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills- In dated Driving Licence with D1 category.
- An understanding and passion for improving opportunities for disadvantaged people and under represented groups or individuals in our communities.
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
