Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Delivering vehicle servicing and repairs to industry standards, ensuring safety and quality
  • Utilising advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicle faults
  • Fitting tyres, including wheel alignment, and interpreting relevant readings and adjustments
  • Replacing brakes, exhaust systems, batteries, suspension components, and other mechanical parts
  • Conducting MOT repairs in accordance with regulations
  • Performing thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics
  • Providing expert advice to customers regarding vehicle maintenance and future repairs
  • Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in the Automotive Industry
  • Proven experience with mechanical repairs, including tyres, brakes, exhausts, and suspension
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and testing procedures
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
