We are looking for a skilled Motor Technician to join our friendly team. We work Monday to Friday and therefore there is no weekend working required
Responsibilities
Vehicle Diagnostics: Use cutting-edge diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
Repairs and Maintenance: Carry out a wide range of repairs and routine maintenance tasks, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and more.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.
Customer Service: Provide clear explanations of issues and repairs to customers when required.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
You will need to be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification) with at least 3 years experience.
Proven experience working as a motor technician, ideally in a dealership or independent garage setting.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK driving license.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles/training will be given
Knowledge of the latest diagnostic tools and technology.
Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
