Pybus Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing automotive service, repair and MOT provider with centres located across the UK.

We are looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a busy and professional workshop team. Candidates with either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification will be considered, provided they have relevant workshop experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys a varied role, from servicing and routine maintenance through to more advanced mechanical repairs including clutches and cambelts.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
  • Carrying out repairs including clutches, cambelts and other major components
  • Completing work to manufacturer and company standards
  • Conducting vehicle health checks and reporting additional work requirements
  • Delivering excellent customer service and clear communication
  • Working effectively as part of a busy workshop team
Working Hours
  • 45-hour contract
  • Monday to Saturday
  • Sundays off plus one day off during the week
  • Some sites operate on a 1 in 2 Saturday rota
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements

  • NVQ/IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Motor Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Uncapped bonus potential with average OTE of approximately £6,000
