We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our franchised workshop team in Swansea. Representing major global brands, we offer a £35,000-£40,000 basic salary, uncapped monthly efficiency bonuses, permanent Monday-to-Friday hours (strictly no weekends), and top-tier manufacturer backing.

Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Swansea dealership workshop, you will:

  • Carry out routine servicing, complex mechanical repairs, engine work, and chassis maintenance to brand standards.
  • Use advanced manufacturer diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Complete digital job cards and video health checks (VHC) to provide clear updates to our service team and customers.
  • Maintain high safety standards, completing safety-critical repairs to deliver clean "first-time fix" results.
What You Need
  • Qualifications & Experience: Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification required (NVQ Level 3 preferred) with a strong background in modern vehicle repair. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
  • Licensing: Full UK manual driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
  • Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
  • Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic skills, a positive work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
