Vehicle Fitter / Assembly Operative

• Temp to Perm Job summary We are recruiting Automotive Assemblers / Vehicle Fitters in Warrington to fit racking, shelving and storage systems into commercial vans.

This is a hands-on workshop role offering steady hours, an early finish on Fridays and a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity.

Automotive experience is useful but not essential, as long as you are practical, reliable and confident using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Installing racking, shelving and internal fittings into commercial vehicles
• Using hand tools such as drills, drivers, spanners and rivet tools
• Measuring, aligning and assembling parts to a clean, professional standard

Job details

• Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:45pm, with an early finish on Friday

Skills and experience required

• Experience in a practical role such as assembly, workshop work, vehicle prep, joinery, maintenance or shopfitting
• or a strong DIY/mechanical interest
• Confidence using hand tools and following clear instructions
• Manual driving licence required (to move vehicles around site)
• Automotive experience would be useful, but it is not essential
