Location: Warehouse - Rumney, Cardiff (Springmeadow Road, Springmeadow Industrial Park, CF3 2ES). Salary: £23,123.20. Working hours: 35 hours per week, flexibly across the week with early morning starts. Application deadline: Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Job Summary

Work as a Van Driver in our Income Generation and Retail Team. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver, collect, and move stock and donations to designated locations, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Complete up to 3-4 drops per day across South/West Wales and Bristol, with a focus on keeping stock moving between shops and the warehouse.
• Carry out roles that may include lone working, with occasional support from volunteers.
• Represent the organisation professionally and provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Operate from the Cardiff warehouse and be within a commutable distance to collect and return the van at the start and end of each day.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence appropriate for a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
• Age of at least 25 due to insurance restrictions.
• Experience of van driving in a similar role.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock and, at times, furniture.
• Good frontline customer service skills and the ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• Understanding of safe working practices in a driving and warehouse environment.

Additional Information

This role is based from the Cardiff warehouse. It involves early morning starts across a 35-hour week with no overnight stays.
