Validation Engineer

The Big Picture

Televic Conference develops, manufactures, and markets conferencing solutions to high-profile customers worldwide (e.g., the United Nations, the European Parliament, the French Senate, etc.).

In order to boost our growth, we are on the lookout for a Validation Engineer.

As a Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of Televic Conference products through rigorous validation and testing processes. By verifying that systems meet functional and performance requirements, you help deliver high-quality solutions that meet current and future customer expectations.



Key responsibilities

  • As a Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating software and hardware components.
  • You define test cases and create test plans according to the product requirements (Gherkin format).
  • You review test scenarios in collaboration with the Architect and Product Owner.
  • You identify which test cases should be automated and which require manual execution.
  • You perform manual testing of our systems.
  • You actively contribute to test automation (using Gherkin, Python, Jira, Zephyr Scale).
  • You report bugs and issues in a structured, reproducible way (Jira).
  • You develop new building blocks in our test framework (Python).
  • You propose improvements to enhance our testing processes and workflows.
  • You participate in improving our SUT center (System Under Test center).


Professional skills we're looking for:

  • You have a technical Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
  • You can translate complex product requirements into well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Ideally you have some experience in testing software applications or in software development (can also be from an internship).
  • You can test with the mindset of an end user.
  • You enjoy working on testing and have a hands-on approach with Python.
  • You understand the fundamentals of software development.
  • You preferably have a basic knowledge of networking (IP, Gateway, DHCP).
  • You have a good knowledge of English.


Nice to have:

  • You have experience with Git
  • You have experience with hardware or embedded devices and experience with preparing hardware for test automation
  • You have experience in test automation frameworks (preferably Python behave BDD) is a nice bonus
  • You have experience in audio/video processing/automation.
  • ISTQB certification
  • You have advanced knowledge of networking (VLAN, routing, )
