Job Description
Urgent Hire! UX Designer
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Location: 1 week in Dublin office - 3 weeks working from home
  • Rate: €400 - €450 per day

Key skills & responsibilities
  • Lead definition of the design work and deliver business outcomes across multiple product teams, with minimal guidance and coaching
  • Partner with product to inform product strategy through design
  • Maintain a customer-first mindset, asking thoughtful questions to uncover root problems
  • Translate user and business needs into clear design solutions
  • Present and explain design rationale clearly to business and technical partners
  • Work across the organization to drive consistent customer experiences across products and platforms
  • Apply and advocate for design system best practices, including reuse and scalability of components
  • Contribute to the culture of the UXD group
  • Provide design and product thought leadership
Key skills or expertise
  • 7+ years of UX design experience, with a strong background in complex enterprise, financial, and B2B environments
  • A degree in a related field such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors is preferred
  • A broad set of design skills, such as visual design, prototyping, information architecture, user research and strategic design methods (such as design sprints, journey mapping, service blue prints)
  • Expertise in Figma, Jira, Confluence, Miro
  • A foundation of web development knowledge
  • Proven success working in agile environments and supporting design teams at scale
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Experience partnering with user research to understand customer problems
  • Experience distilling qualitative and quantitative feedback to unearth recurring themes and promote data-driven design decisions
  • Experience using research to support evidence-focused design decisions
