About the position:

The System Support specialist for the our External Video Platform will provide technical and operational support for our video hosting tools, with a focus on the External Video Platform (Aurora). The ideal candidate will be experienced in using video hosting solutions such as Vimeo, YouTube, or similar platforms.


Tasks:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for External Video Platform users, addressing issues related to video uploads, playback, and access.
  • Manage and maintain video hosting solutions, including migration of videos from other platforms like Vimeo, YouTube, or equivalent services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, escalate complex incidents, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and update user documentation, best practices, and how-to guides for video platform usage.
  • Monitor system performance, report incidents, and recommend improvements for platform stability and user experience.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and support for new users and stakeholders on video platform functionalities.
  • Stay current with new features and changes in video hosting technologies to enhance support capabilities.


Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for user support and training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with video hosting support and enterprise video solutions.
  • Experience creating training materials and support documentation for end users.
