The Urgent Care Assistant - Salisbury (Part-time role centres on ensuring the Treatment Centre is kept clean and tidy.

Our shift patterns vary and include weekday evenings, weekends, and a commitment to work some overnight sessions (23.00-08.00).

Professional requirements

• License (with no more than 6 registered penalty points) is essential for this role and you should possess a good level of driving
• Please note that overnight working will be required as part of this role and will make up part of the required working rota
• As part of the role, you must be comfortable working in both clinical and mobile environments, responding to the needs of the service as they arise
• , including periods of prolonged sitting (for example, at a reception desk or in a vehicle), alongside more physically demanding tasks such as moving and carrying emergency equipment and delivering CPR at floor level when required
• As an Urgent Care Assistant, you will be required to undertake a dual role of driving and reception work to support the efficient operation of Integrated Urgent Care services across the South West locality
• A degree of flexibility will be required, and there may be the occasional opportunity to work outside of your contracted hours to facilitate the smooth operational running of the service
• Please note that the successful applicant will need an Enhanced DBS which be applied for by us upon confirmation of appointment

Working pattern & role details

• Please note that shift patterns and rota flexibility can be discussed at the application stage
• Saturday - Monday 0800 - 08:00 - (Encompassing AM/PM/Evening or Overnight Shifts)
• Perform basic vehicle checks at the beginning and end of shifts - ensuring they are roadworthy, fuelled and fully equipped
• Accurate recording of all medications and consumables used while on shift
• Supporting Clinicians while you are on shift
• Replenishing car stock at the end of your shift
• undertake and pass a driver's medical in line with role requirements
