Prospero Teaching is recruiting confident and motivated Unqualified Teachers to work in schools across the Fareham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong experience working with children or young people who are looking to take the next step in their education career.

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will lead classes, deliver pre-planned lessons, support pupil progress, and maintain a positive learning environment. We work with a range of primary, secondary, and specialist SEN settings, offering opportunities to suit different experience levels and career aspirations.

This role is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, tutors, sports coaches, youth workers, graduates, and aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience and develop their teaching skills.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities
• Lead classes independently and manage classroom behaviour
• Support pupils to engage with learning and achieve lesson objectives
• Adapt activities to suit a range of learning abilities and needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and classroom participation
• Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback to school staff
• Build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Coach, or similar role desirable
• Confident managing groups of pupils independently
• Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
• Adaptable, resilient, and proactive approach
• Passionate about supporting young people and education
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Graduates and aspiring teachers encouraged to apply

Contract Details:

• Position: Unqualified Teacher
• Location: Fareham
• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Pattern: Full-time
• Pay Rate: Up to £130 per day
• Key Stages: Primary, Secondary & SEN

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:

• Previous classroom experience desirable
• Experience working with children or young people essential
• Safeguarding training can be provided
• Teacher training aspirations welcomed
