Job Description

Protocol Education supports secondary schools across Somerset and the surrounding areas, including Yeovil, Shepton Mallet, Street, Glastonbury, Frome, Bruton, Wincanton, Wells and Somerton.

We're looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors and Unqualified Teachers to support local secondary schools with both planned and unexpected staff absences. No teaching qualification is required. If you've got confidence, strong communication skills and enjoy working with young people, we'll provide the training to help you get started.

  • Deliver pre-planned lesson materials
  • Support students to stay focused and engaged
  • Maintain a calm and positive learning environment
  • Follow school behaviour policies and routines
  • Build positive relationships with young people
  • Gain valuable experience across a range of school settings
Working Pattern
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Immediate starts available
  • Flexible work from 2 to 5 days per week
  • A mix of pre-booked assignments and morning cover requests

  • Schools matched to your preferred travel area wherever possible
