Job Description: Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Consultant (Dutch speaking)

Location: Hybrid, Utrecht-based (up to 3 days a week in the office/client site).

Reporting to: Professional Services Manager

Primary Objective

We are seeking a UEM Consultant with strong expertise in Unified Endpoint Management technologies to design, implement, and optimise modern device management solutions for our clients.

This role focuses on enabling secure, efficient management of endpoints across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining technical depth with consulting skill to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and support enterprise-grade UEM solutions leveraging leading platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Samsung Knox, MobileIron (Ivanti), and BlackBerry UEM.
  • Conduct assessments, workshops, and proof of concepts, translating business requirements into secure, practical technical designs.

Deploy and optimise UEM configurations for:

  • Device enrollment and compliance policies
  • Application deployment and life cycle management
  • Conditional Access and integration with identity platforms
  • Implement best practices for endpoint security and compliance across multiple operating systems.
  • Collaborate with Practice Leads to shape client proposals, estimates, and technical statements of work.
  • Stay current with evolving UEM technologies and continuously enhance both your own expertise and that of our wider Operations team.
  • Create clear documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks to support implementation and transition to support.
  • Contribute to internal frameworks, standards, and reusable assets that elevate delivery quality and consistency.
  • Assist Sales and Practice Leads on an ad hoc basis with presales engagements related to UEM solutions.
Core Technical Expertise

Experience in at least one major UEM platform (technology-agnostic), such as:

  • Microsoft Intune
  • Samsung Knox
  • MobileIron (Ivanti)
  • BlackBerry UEM

Strong working knowledge of:

  • Identity and access management (eg, Microsoft Entra ID)
  • Endpoint security integration (eg, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint)
  • Zero Trust principles and modern management architectures
Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years experience in endpoint management consultancy or engineering with demonstrable delivery of UEM solutions.
  • Proven track record in UEM design, deployment, and optimisation across enterprise environments.
  • Experience delivering integrated solutions combining identity and endpoint security.
  • Excellent consulting and communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working in Professional Services or customer-facing delivery, managing multiple engagements concurrently.
  • Understanding of compliance and security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS, GDPR).
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams to drive technical and operational excellence.
  • Relevant certifications highly desirable (eg, MD-102, Samsung Knox certifications, Ivanti/MobileIron credentials, BlackBerry UEM certifications).
