Undergraduate Engineer (Placement Year) - London or Birmingham Role profile 
We have exciting opportunities for 3 rd or penultimate year engineering students who have interest in pursuing a career in civil / structural engineering to join us for 12 months placements in our London and Birmingham offices.
JOB DESCRIPTIONDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Undertake assignments in the UK and overseas, as directed
- Adopt procedures for standardisation of work products and deliverables, and peer review to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery of the Company's technical work product
- Structural design, assessments and finite elements analysis using various software
- Adhere to Company procedures in the management, delivery and administration of Services
- Embrace organisational change and appropriately modify behaviour and attitudes as required
- Have an understanding and awareness of the company values and business plan and your contribution to both
- Observe and maintain Company Health and Safety, IMS & Ethics Policies across all activities
KEY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed two years of an accredited Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Eurocodes and other relevant national and international industry standards
- Basic awareness of forms of contract, construction methodologies and civil engineering procedures
- Desire to work in a consultancy environment on large scale infrastructure projects
- Keen interest in pursuing a career in civil or structural engineering
